Early bloomer. Fernleaf peony plants are vigorous, reliable plants with unique, fine-textured, fern-like foliage. Deep-red or burgundy flowers appear earlier than most other peonies; it is one of the first to bloom of the season. Makes a nice rounded bush and reaches 24" in height with 4" flowers above unusual feather-like foliage.
